TITLE: Expert Software Engineer

Location: 1333 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94612 (Alameda County) (Must appear in office approximately one day per week; work from home permitted remainder of week)

Salary: $215,197/yr - $220,197/yr

Job Description: Design and build software for Customer Relationship Management Systems. Salesforce implementation, administration, development, end user, and admin training. Design the Data Model with adherence to all Normalization Forms after thorough understanding of the legacy systems and depicting the entire Data Model in Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD). Analyze and implement the security model (Object-level, Field-level, and Record-level) using Profiles, Roles, and Sharing Model (organizational-wide defaults and sharing rules) settings. Maintain Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture throughout the application. Create Visualforce Pages (HTML based) and implement client-side validations using JavaScript and jQuery. Build APEX (Java) classes and triggers for applying the business logic on database events. Design and build Workflow rules for generating mails and tasks. Create Web Services to integrate with home-grown Siebel System using Restful Web Services. Build Data Loader scripts to synchronize the Salesforce data with legacy systems. Perform unit testing and performance testing in development and regression testing in test environment. Must appear in office approximately one day per week; work from home permitted remainder of week.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related Software Development role.

Experience and/or education must include:

1. Programming in Java/C#, Force.com, Apex, and Visualforce;
2. Programming JavaScript;
3. Salesforce.com's SOQL and SOSL;
4. Developing and working with Salesforce REST and SOAP API services;
5. Salesforce.com's security model;
6. Salesforce.com's Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter, and Force.com product offerings; and
7. Database concepts and data modeling capabilities.
