LOCATION: 2 Mint Plaza, Unit 904, San Francisco, CA 94103. Must appear in office two (2) days per week; Work from home permissible 3 days per week.; 40 hours/week

TITLE: Data Engineering Lead

Job Description: Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes. Undertake pre-process of structured and unstructured data. Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies. Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Design data integrations and data quality framework. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy. Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets. Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes. Must appear in office two (2) days per week; Work from home permissible 3 days per week.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related field followed by five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineering-related role. Alternatively, company will accept a Master’s degree or a foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineering-related role. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. 

Experience and/or education must include:

1. Advanced A/B Testing Techniques for Large Public Populations; 
2. Designing and Maintaining ETL Pipelines for High-Volume Data Processing; 
3. Python for Advanced Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning in Advertising Related Products; 
4. Cluster Management and Optimization in AWS using Hybrid ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes Configurations; and 
5. Data Mining and Segmentation using a Combination of Airflow, Spark, Hadoop, Kubernetes, and Pytorch.
