Software Engineer, DoorDash, Inc., San Francisco, CA. Develop and maintain a 24x7, global infrastructure system that powers DoorDash’s three-sided marketplace of consumers, merchants, and dashers. Design and build beautiful, intuitive user interfaces for our web applications to create the best delivery experience. Act as a product owner for one of our client-facing applications to design, build beautiful, intuitive user interfaces for DoorDash’s web applications. Write robust, highly tested, well-crafted code that you can be proud of. Write REST APIs and conduct unit testing to improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of systems and applications. Determine system performance standards to improve functionality, reliability, scalability, and security for front-end systems. Make technical and product decisions or the best customer experience. Use cross-browser compatibility, progressive enhancement and graceful degradation, responsive design, website performance, and accessibility. Telecommuting Permitted. (SWE-S-2403-CA).

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary Range: $155,605 - $210,100/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, or closely related field of study plus three (3) years of progressive, post-bachelors experience in the field of software engineering or program analysis.

Qualifying experience in at least five (5) of the following skills (which may be gained concurrently):

• Typescript

• JavaScript and Java

• HTML 5

• CSS3

• React Hooks

• REST APIs

• React

• Redux

• Next.js

• Lodash

Up to 10% (domestic) travel based on business need.
