Business Intelligence Engineer, DoorDash, Inc., San Francisco, CA.

Build database solutions used for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. Implement dashboards, structures, and data warehouse architecture. Act as a technical powerhouse when scaling data infrastructure, dashboards, tools, and reporting forecasts. Guide the greater team of analysts, data scientists, and DoorDash. Work alongside world-class data science and machine learning teams. Define data architecture and implement data models, pipelines, monitoring and quality assurance frameworks. Unify data from multiple data sources using SQL, Python, and other languages to unlock business insights. Manage a portfolio of pipelines and data marts that empower analysts and data scientists across the company. Document new and existing models, solutions, and implementations. Ensure that processed data meets our high-quality standards. Continuously improve and optimize our jobs to hit performance targets. Telecommuting Permitted. (BIE-S-102-SF)

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary Range: $168,397 - $189,100/yr. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline plus three (3) years of experience in the field of data analysis, business intelligence, data engineering or a related occupation.

In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline plus five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-bachelor’s experience in the field of data analysis, business intelligence, data engineering or a related occupation.

Qualifying experience must include three (3) years in the following skills (which may be gained concurrently);

• SQL;
• Analytics & Visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Chartio or similar;
• Reporting tools such as Domo, Hyperion, or similar;
• Data Modeling;
• Snowflake, Postgres, MS SQL server, Teradata, Netezza or other structured databases;
• Data analysis;
• Data prep/ETL;
• GitHub or VCS;
• A/B testing.

Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
