Sr. Data Scientist

Sr. Data Scientist, Electronic Arts, Inc., Redwood City, CA. Use data to identify improvement for enhancing player experience. Perform A/B tests to determine impact of different creatives in media and messaging and how players respond to different media touch points. Quantify the relationship between marketing activities and impact on player acquisition and engagement especially around the launch of a game. Determine impact of media and marketing activities on player acquisition and engagement to inform how paid media strategies and budgets should be allocated. Collaborate with franchise leads and stakeholders to accumulate comprehensive knowledge of a game franchise from multifaceted perspectives. Collaborate with paid media strategists to understand the impact of media across channels and audiences by designing A/B tests. Utilize modeling and techniques to determine a baseline performance to estimate the impact of media or marketing activities. Track and exam performance of campaigns to determine top performing attributes. Develop dashboards to provide self-serve visualization of data to our stakeholders. Create new player and marketing financial models. Maintain and existing model that forecasts sales using campaign and marketing metrics. Expand models to be able to forecast sales in smaller regional markets, not just the major western world. Telecommuting permitted. (E2-830769)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics Engineering, or in a related field.

 

Special Requirements: Position requires knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills:

 

· Statistics and hypothesis testing;

· Experimental design and methodologies;

· Exploratory data analysis;

· Sampling and survey methodologies;

· Data visualization;

· R or Python; and

· Tableau or Google Analytics.
