Leading a dedicated data science team focused on driving insights, reporting of the performance of solar tracker systems and managing the technical aspects of the team’s work, including implementing and overseeing processes for code review, documentation, and maintaining code repositories (15% of time). Overseeing critical data analysis and reporting functions, including data pipeline management, algorithm development, automated report preparation, and program management of various business service offerings ensuring the tracking of health and efficiency of solar assets (15% of time). Technically managing multiple reporting programs, including the Availability Guarantee Program and Operational Report Service, ensuring continuous measurement, monitoring, and reporting of contracted plant availability and operational status (15% of time). Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards, detailed reports and monitoring tools for internal teams and other key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision in communicated metrics and maximizing usage (10% of time). Responding to ad-hoc analysis needs arising internally within the company in support of technical services and customer needs (5% of time). Engaging with customers to provide detailed performance analyses and actionable insights, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust. Serving as a technical subject matter expert, addressing internal and external customer inquiries and presenting complex data in an understandable manner (10% of time). REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 2 years of solar performance engineering analytics experience working with large time series data sets. Alternatively, employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 3 years of solar performance engineering analytics experience working with large time series data sets.
