Business Systems Analyst, Lam Research Corporation, Livermore, CA. Analyze complex business problems to be resolved with automated system solutions or business process re-engineering. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems requirements and procedures that are cost effective, meet user requirements, and consider data quality requirements. Liaison with Engineering, GIS Operations & Applications, Enterprise Programs and participate in medium to large size projects covering all phases of the project from inception through post-mortem. Plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing. Lead cross-functional efforts to address business or systems issues as required. Assist the business unit in troubleshooting and solving business systems system components and process problems. Recommend technical solutions, integrate data across various systems. To provide and ensure system and user documentations are up-to-date, and conduct user training when necessary. Provide users support for service request and issue resolution. Collaborate with Digital transformation and Engineering Cross Functional teams by providing inputs and supporting systems information to aid in decision making.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $171,000 – $239,000/yr. 

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside in California and most states. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Information Systems, Information Technology and Management, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field, plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in business systems analysis.

In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Information Systems, Information Technology and Management, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in business systems analysis.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in at least 2 of the following: product development business processes and applications/systems (CAD, or PLM), Engineering Change Management (Requirements, Issue reporting, Change Notification, Design reviews), and/or Product Programs and Portfolio management.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in at least 2 of the following software: TeamCenter, Enovia 21X and above versions, and/or Technia TVC.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in the following tools: Power BI, Qlik, or Jira.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in at least 3 of the following business systems analysis areas: blueprinting; requirements elicitation and documentation; design; configuration; testing; and/or Release Strategy and post production support.

Must have at least 1 year of experience in 1 of the following programs: SQL; .Net, and/or Java.
