TITLE:Senior Cloud Test Engineer

Job Description: Manage testing life cycle of our crisis communication delivery services including Telephony, Short Message Service (SMS), Email and Pager. Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the testing organization. Analyze the company’s existing product portfolio and new features. Design efficient strategies to ensure quality by an astute balance of testing efforts. Manage quality risk. Refine and optimize our quality processes by implementing best practices for Quality Assurance (QA). Actively participate in architecture and design discussions to ensure that quality is designed-in from the planning phase. Actively participate in requirement analysis to develop efficient Test plans and Test Design specifications. Drive rapid acceleration of automation initiatives through analysis, deployment and operation of best-of-breed automation tools suited to the product line and testing scenario. 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related role. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept two (2) additional years of work experience in the job offered or related role.

Experience and/or education must include: 

1. Test Planning, Optimization, Best Practices Implementation using tools such as Jira, TestRail, Confluence;

2. Test lifecycle management, Functional/Non-functional /System Testing using tools such as Postman, ALM by Microfocus (formerly HP), Jmeter, Abacus (Telephony test tool), Cisco UCM, Wireshark, SQL, Grafana;

3. Test Automation and Tools like Postman, Jmeter, AWS serverless, Docker, Kubernetes;

4. AWS Cloud services like EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch,S3, etc.; and

5. Testing delivery services like Telephony/SMS/Email/Mobile/Pager/Fax.

OTHER: Job Site: 2150 N First Street, Suite 240, San Jose, CA 95131; 40 hours/week; $202,974 - $227,518/yr. If offered employment, the applicant must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
