Senior AI Engineer - Multiple Positions

Senior AI Engineer (Multiple Positions), Electronic Arts, Inc., Redwood City, CA. Develop core AI applications and gameplay features, components, systems and tools to required coding standards. Create state-of-the-art algorithms and extract important insights from EA's rich store of data to empower intelligent agents within the EA ecosystem. Lead the development of high-performing applications, services and infrastructure to run ML/AI models at scale with real customer impact. Drive the building and enhancement of services to deploy AI models and build data pipelines and integrated user interface. Lead internal and external conferences related to applying AI/ML to games. Create novel approaches to ML problems in video games related to fraud and anomaly detection. Productionalize machine learning models for the global EA ecosystem. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of data collection, extraction and storage processes. Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation. May supervise or mentor junior engineers. Telecommuting permitted. (SSAIML-B-102-CARC)

 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $206,315- 239,700/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field and three (3) years of software engineering experience.

 

In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field and five (5) years of progressive, post-bachelor’s software engineering experience.

 

Qualifying experience must include three (3) years in each of the following skills (which may be gained concurrently);

·       Machine learning algorithms and developing novel AI applications;

·       Programming languages including Python, C, C++, Ruby, or Java;

·       Machine Learning using PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn, or XGBoost;

·       Object oriented programming & functional paradigms in the development of systems, applications, and web services;

·       Fast prototyping skills to build large-scale data and distributed systems;

·       Scripting languages such as bash, awk, or similar;

·       Large scale data and Distributed System design & development using Apache Hadoop, Spark or similar.

 

Must have one (1) year of experience leading teams of software engineers.

 

Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

 

Up to 10% domestic travel possible based on business need.
