Job Title: Senior Staff, Software Engineer

Job Description: Manage and lead the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes gathering requirements, designing systems, modelling data, and implementing, configuring, testing and delivering software. Design ETL Interfaces. Purchase Order data from inbound Order management applications to Warehouse management systems and Vendor management systems. Design inbound logistics applications, provide actionable intelligence and global visibility on tracking and tracing shipments from Factory to Stores. Develop complex integration patterns, including MQ to MQ based Interfaces, Publish and Subscribe Interfaces, File based Interfaces, web services and REST Services. Create XMLs, XSDs, and WSDLs required for developing SOAP based web services. Design and develop ETL framework and integrate them with IBM Infosphere MDM and Oracle JDE to PublishSubscribe data from CRM applications. Lead walkthrough sessions with stakeholders for the Application Design Specification document and obtain signoff. Design data warehouse architecture, normalized/de-normalized star schemas and snowflakes, slowly change dimensions, dimensional surrogate key handling mechanisms, exception data processing mechanism and recommend improvements to tune data integration process. Perform structured troubleshooting and resolve complex and critical technical production issues using top-down and bottom-up approach. Design and review automation processes for ETL Layer & ESB flows using Unix Shell, Python and ensure continuous integration with Puppet/Chef and Nagios.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering, or related field and Eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role.

Experience and/or education must include:

1. DevOps;

2. Agile Methodologies;

3. ETL (Extract Transform Load) – IBM InfoSphere Datastage;

4. MQ (Messaging Queue);

5. Oracle PL/SQL;

6. REST Services; and

7. Infor Nexus Shipment Visibility/Factory Management.
